Project Goal
The Pakistan Climate Resilience Research Coordination Network (RCN) works to advance the capability of researchers to co-produce science-to-action interdisciplinary research, education, and workforce development. Those efforts, in turn, will improve climate adaptation and resilience in Pakistan.
The RCN is a project of USAID’s Higher Education System Strengthening Activity (HESSA), which will:
-
-
-
Establish a research coordination network steered by participating HESSA HEI researchers and guided by shared goals, a collaborative mindset, and a plan for sustained engagement
-
Strengthen the capabilities of participating faculty in research development, grant writing, and research methods
-
Build transdisciplinary teams around critical focal research areas
-
Mobilize research teams to identify funding opportunities and write proposals
-
Launch international research partnerships aligned with key focal research areas
